Independence Day Pool Party
What could be a better summer celebration than a pool party? At the Hotel Palomar in Phoenix, the Lustre Rooftop Bar comes alive for Independence Day weekend. From the 1st through the 4th, party in the pool with music from live DJ’s, vodka tastings, and drink specials. Guests will also enjoy drink specials and a grill menu featuring shrimp skewers and Kobe beef sliders.
Celebrate with the Diamondbacks
Nothing says America quite like a baseball game! Celebrate America by watching the local Arizona Diamondbacks play the Colorado Rockies at Chase Field. The first 20,000 fans will win a free patriotic t-shirt, courtesy of State Forty Eight. During the game, snack on special themed concessions, such as the red, white, and blue churro dog. Following the game, the roof of Chase Field will open up for a wonderful, family-friendly fireworks show.
Independence Day at Westworld in Scottsdale
One of the city’s largest 4th of July celebrations takes place at Westworld event center in Scottsdale. Here, the whole family can enjoy activities that are sure to entertain every member of the family! Enjoy a BMX show, bull riding rodeo, and a stunt dog show. Younger kids will love the meet and greet with Disney princesses and superheroes and the petting zoo. There are also carnival rides, obstacle courses, and a Ferris wheel. After a day of fun, the fireworks show kicks off at 9pm to end the night with a bang!
Fourth of Zooly
Those looking for a family friendly 4th of July will love the Fourth of Zooly event at the Phoenix Zoo. Enjoy a catered barbecue dinner while you watching live animal shows and entertainment, ride the free carousel, and head into the bounce house and slide. Adults can purchase beer or wine during the event. At 9pm, the celebration moves to the back of the zoo where guest have an amazing view of the Tempe Town Lake fireworks show.
